in realta' qui' sono abbastanza fottuti dal tempo, hanno una specie di robot che devono immergere fino a 5000 metri (tipo titanic) ma non possono fare niente per le onde, per cui iniziano ad essere un po' nervosi anche perché credo che tutto cio' costi veramente un botto.
va be' comunque noi siamo un po stufelli... dobbiamo assolutamente trovare qualcosa per dare un senso a queste 3 settimane, ci proveremo.Per il resto stiamo benone, si mangia bene anche se un po' troppa carne. Naida fa la cura del sonno io quella del cibo, mi sa che tornerò con qualche kilotto in più.

I ricercatori sono molto carini e gentili, molto giovani bevono birra come solo i tedeschi possono fare ed ascoltano uno strano hip hop tedesco. Ci sono 46 persone a bordo, 23 di crew e 23 di ricercatori tecnici etc..

Il mare continua ad essere grosso e nervoso, non prevedono un miglioramento prima di lunedì. A questo punto sono curioso di vedere il robot in azione. Stanno studiando questa profonda spaccatura, tipo canyon, che c'e' in mezzo all' Atlantico, dove il fondo va da 2500 metri fino a 4500 o più.
Nel fondo ci sono dei vulcanelli che sparano acqua a 200 gradi e ci sono dei gamberi che vivono in questa acqua caldissima senza essere bolliti, se ho capito bene questo e il motivo principale del loro interesse.
Comunque è brava gente. Davvero sono molto carini e gentili.

In any case, these guys are really great people. Really, they are very kind.

Iskreno rečeno, i ovaj brod ima puno problema sa vremenskim uslovima jer imaju nekog robota kojeg potope u dubinu od 5000 metara (nešto poput Titanika), a to sada ne mogu raditi zbog visokih valova. Zbog toga su se malo unervozili, a i mislim da ih ova naučna operacija mnogo košta. No dobro, nama je već pomalo dosta svega... definitivno ćemo morati pronaći neki smisao tokom ove tri sedmice. Potrudit ćemo se. Što se ostalog tiče, dobro smo, hrana je odlična, iako prečesto jedemo meso. Naida obnavlja energiju spavanjem, a ja hranom, mislim da ću nabaciti par kilograma viška.

Istraživači su fini, ljubazni i dosta mladi, piju pivo kako to samo Njemci znaju i slušaju neki čudni njemački hip-hop. Na brodu je ukupno 46 ljudi, od toga 23 člana posade i 23 naučnika... danas su nas proveli kroz sigurnosne procedure u slučaju napuštanja broda... baš bi bilo šega kad bi se to desilo... naravno, šalim se.
U svakom slučaju, ovo je brod sa svojim mikrokosmosom.
More je i dalje veliko i nervozno, brod se puno ljulja, a vremenska prognoza ne najavljuje poboljšanje prije ponedjeljka... nadaju se tome.
Mene trenutno veoma zanima kako radi taj robot.
Istražuju jednu veliku pukotinu, nešto poput kanjona usred Atlantika, gdje je dubina od 2500 do 4500m – čak i više. U tom dubokom kanjonu postoje vulkani koji izbacuju vodu vruću 200 stepeni. Tu postoje račići koji žive u toj vreloj vodi i ne skuhaju se. Koliko sam shvatio, to ih najviše zanima. Zanimljivi su ljudi, mnoge sam od njih pitao da mi na jednostavan način objasne tu teoriju ali im nije bilo lako. U svakom slučaju, stvarno su super. Iskreno su ljubazni, ali kao i svi naučnici, nemaju puno osjećaja za praktične stvari. Pokušavaju već dva dana da organizuju turnir u ping-pongu ali još nismo ni počeli.
Nadam se da ću vam uskoro moći poslati još detalja. Sada idemo na spavanje jer je već 8:30, a ovdje se večera u 5:30.
